Notes: I wanted to add more to this chapter, but it was running long, so I decided to stop a little earlier than I was planning. This means that action I planned for this chapter will end up being in the next one. So expect an action-pack chapter three, sanzo-ikkou style.

A Sweet Courtship - Chapter 1 )

Hello

Since so many communities I am in are coming here I thought it'll be a good idea to get a journal. Let's check the place out.

I think you can fall in love all over again. Before you could have been in a different place and weren't ready for the relationship or they could have been. Sometimes a person has to go through experience to really appreciate what love is and what that person meets with them. There are things that stay the same, but there are also things that change.  So the person I loved back then may be the same or they may be different. I may be the same and different. So then we meet, get to know each other and fall in love. It's just like falling in love anew, because you are falling not for the memory, but the person standing in front of you now.

I finally finished the big book project and so therefore am free. Yay!!!! This was the accumulation of my grad program so basically I'm done. I graduate in June. *takes a deep breath* Ah. So good.

Today was a hard day. I have a headache and am grumpy. I drew my 50 apples though and now I just have to do shading tomorrow.

So far so good. I'm tired though, but that isn't unusual. I'm usually tired, especially at the end of the work week. On top of that I have to draw 50 apples with shading, indicating the light source. 50 by my next art lesson on Saturday. Tonight I have drawn 5 of the apples. Only 45 more to go. *cries a little*

In other news, I wrote a bit on a new book. Not sure if I'll keep it, but it's a start. I'm currently trying to decide if I want to change it to first person or keep it third person. Decisions, decisions.

Four smileys today and a plus for getting in 2 liters of water fulfilling the amount of recommended water a day. I feel great. A little tired, but great.

I'll be starting my new schedule soon with some changes. The3 hour art lessons I have twice a week have to be factored in.

In other news. Yay! I bought my ticket to Europe.

Since I'm currently slacking on my book revisions, I thought I would go ahead and put up my new years resolutions.  But before that here is a little preamble.

One of the great things about New Years is the feeling that I'm getting a fresh start. Even if I don't accomplish my resolutions, I still feel that I started off the new year with a focus.

Another year alive, with good and bad things. 2009 was a tough year, but that's all right. Sometimes things sucks, but that makes the good things more awesome. I look forward to 2010, just like I'll look forward to every year after that.

So onward to the resolutions!

* Write everyday (at least 100 words): I want to get into the habit of writing everyday and I know that 100 words I can do even on a bad day, so there is never an excuse.
* Draw everyday (for at least 30 minutes): I already signed up for drawing lessons. I've always wanted to draw and having one more way to tell stories is always good.
* Exercise regularly (min. of 15 minutes): I'm getting old and so the healthier I get the better. Fifteen minutes might not be a lot, but it's better than nothing.

At first glance this might seem a lot, but in actuality this means taking 1-1 1/2hr everyday to just do something for me -- for my health, for my career, for my enjoyment.  I think I can manage.

Of course I have big goals for the year too, but those are things I may or may not accomplish. This, at least, is something I feel I can do.

Happy New Year's everyone!
